I HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY IT

Good morning darlings! It’s Wednesday, July 15, 2020!
I’m breathing. I’m healthy. I’m truly blessed. I’m grateful for this day.”πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
I have mixed feelings about today, Wednesday, July 15.
I have been looking forwards to this day for months since I was going to be hosting my Sold-out Round Table Luncheon "A Path to Recovery and Normalcy " at noon at Galatoire's.

It was going to be my first RTL since this pandemic started.
I was really looking forward to hosting a stellar panel of featured speakers that included Hon. Mayor La Toya Cantrell, Health expert Dr. Corey Hebert, Daniel Hammer, CEO of The Historic New Orleans Collection, and philanthropist Sandra Thomson Herman, President of the New Orleans Entertainment Coalition.
The rise of the coronavirus cases and the recent restrictions imposed by Governor John Bel Edwards and Mayor La Toya Cantrell made me postpone the RTL until Wednesday, September 2nd at noon at Galatoire's.
It was a sad decision, but I am sure under the circumstances it was the right one. I am praying that by September 2nd, this historical, pandemic coronavirus will be under control.
The safety and welfare of my guests were my priority. πŸ™πŸ™“Keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.” – Marilyn Monroe

Carnival 2021 is still months away, but if you really know our annual set of balls, parades, parties and uninhibited fun you know those few weeks take months of preparation.

I am so relieved that I postponed my Round Table Luncheon at Galatoire's. I am hoping that by September, the coronavirus will be contained!πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
