Darlings,

WOW! Last week was a very special week that culminated with my attendance at the thrilling Saints game vs. Arizona Cardinals at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

OMG, what a thrill to be watching the Saints game with the return of Drew Brees and the Saints extending their winning record to 7-1. Congratulations and Geaux Saints!

Thanks to the Gershanik family who invited my brother, Lorenzo Bergen, and I to their fab suite on the 50-yard line. I always wonder who else is going to be there and I am always delighted to see so many mutual longtime friends enjoying the game as well.

Tropical Storm Olga dampened my spirit and unfortunately I missed a few fun soirees but these are the ones that I attended and enjoyed.

WOW. What a fun night at the Krewe of Stars’ Becky Allen's Halloween Costume Birthday Bash, on Saturday, October 26 at the lovely Marshall Manor by the Bayou. The costumes, the entertainment and the food were over the top.

Bravo Michael Murphy! I thoroughly enjoyed the World Premiere of the very informative and entertaining documentary film, “Up From The Streets” on October 22, at the Orpheum Theater with filmmakers in attendance.

From Louis Armstrong to James Booker, jazz and blues to rock and roll, New Orleans is known the world over for its phenomenal musicians and vibrant music scene. “Up From the Streets” offers a comprehensive look into the history of New Orleans music and its extensive influence around the world. With Afro-Caribbean influence to Mardi Gras Indians and Second Line parades, New Orleans is home to a unique mesh of cultures.

Through interviews, performances, and street footage, this film celebrates life through the universal language of music. New Orleans music may come from the streets, but where it takes you is boundless.
I also attended a lovely fundraiser for Hon. LaToya Cantrell at the Magnolia Mansion!
Fundraiser in honor of Hon.LaToya Cantrell, New Orleans Mayor!
