A Toast to New Orleans: September 9-16

Darlings,
I  overheard TV Anchorman Brian Williams said - " It is the beginning of the Football Season and Life will not be the same until Winter."
I would like to add- The Cultural Season in New Orleans is here and my life will not be the same until Summer!
Last week, as in the past, I hosted the annual Royal Sonesta's Round Table Luncheon saluting the Cultural Arts and their upcoming cultural season. To promote the upcoming WYES' Beatles tribute concert which will take place on September 16 at Tad Gormley Stadium.  So the "Groovy Salute to the Arts" Round Table Luncheon was very informative, entertaining and delicious and featured  Jenny Hamilton,Executive Director of the New Orleans Ballet Association; Maestro Robert Lyall, Artistic Director of the New Orleans Opera, Maestro Dennis Assaf, Jefferson Performing Arts Society’s Artistic Director,James William Boyd,Chief Executive Officer of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and representing New Orleans Museum of Art :Brooke Minto, Deputy Director for Development and External Affairs, and Kristen Jochem, Donor Relations and Events Manager of NOMA;-

Guests enjoyed entertainment by the very talented Leslie Castay, a veteran of the Broadway stage and a resident of New Orleans and Cliff Johnson that provided a musical blast from the past as he saluted the Beatles and shared a sneak peek of what we can expect at the WYES Beatles tribute concert coming up on September 16th.
