A Toast to New Orleans and YOU. Week- January 15-22: MLK/ Good Apple Gala/ Compañia Nacional de Danza of Spain Reception, and Performance and more...... Good afternoon my darling family and friends. It is Monday, January 15 - Martin Luther King Day. I feel blessed to have been alive to enjoy a fun-filled weekend & look forward to the Ballet Association 's Triple Crown Festivities that include a reception in honor the Compañia Nacional de Danza from Spain & the return of Compañia Nacional de Danza (CNdD), Spain’s premier, national dance company, after 22 years for a rare New Orleans engagement. "Wake up every Monday knowing that you can create something amazing this week"😘 Stay warm & take care of pets and plants. The last night of the spectacular production of My Fair Lady was truly memorable. The cast was so talented, and I was fortunate to meet David Andrews Rogers - the Music Director / Conductor and the dashing Professor Higgins played by Jonathan Grunert! I was blessed to have seen Sir Rex Hamilton on stage in one of the My Fair Lady US Tour.! OMG what a spectacular and delicious 2nd Annual New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund Honor Gala at the Sugar Mills. Congratulations to the honorees. I love seeing so many longtime friends including talented Arthel Neville who I haven't seen for years . What a fun night at the spectacular Opera Creole’s Queen Charlotte Masquerade Ball at the Marigny Opera House! It was, indeed, a mélange of history and happenings that only take place in New Orleans when Opera Créole hosted "CHEVALIER AND CHARLOTTE": A MASKED BALL Friday featuring Wanda Rouzan as Queen Charlotte from the "Bridgerton" series and violinist Brandon Harris as Le Chevalier de St. Georges.
