A Toast to New Orleans and YOU- Week of January 22-29: 14th Annual Horses, Hops & Cops/Krewe de Vieux/ and on January 29- CRAWL INTO CARNIVAL ROUND TABLE LUNCHEON

: A Toast to New Orleans and YOU- Week of January 22-29: 14th Annual Horses, Hops & Cops/Krewe de Vieux/ and on January 29- CRAWL INTO CARNIVAL ROUND TABLE LUNCHEON IT'S CARNIVAL TIME! Good mor😘ning my darling family and friends. A warmer Tuesday, January 23 is waking us up. “When you arise in the morning, think of what a privilege it is to be alive – to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love.”– Marcus Aurelius. I am grateful to be alive and healthy. “What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.” – Oscar Wilde, Wishing you a blessed Tuesday. I am grateful to see another day and week with warmer temperature.. After a fun-filled week I am looking forward to this week & Monday January 29 when Rick Tringali & I will co-host "Crawl Into Carnival" Round Table Luncheon at the Jazz Museum. I hope you start your Monday by loving yourself. Self-love is what keeps us going in life. Never forget that! Choose to see the good in every moment, Have a blessed week.😘 The highlight of my week was the festivities associated with the visit of Spain's Compania Nacional de Danza presented by the New Orleans Ballet Association: The historic Cabildo was the setting for the exclusive Fiesta honoring the artists from Spain's Compania Nacional de Danza. Julio and Cesar kept everyone dancing to the Spanish music at the spectacular reception. Before I went to see the performance of Spain’s National Dance Company, I stopped by Gennifer Flowers Club to a surprise birthday party for Kitsy Adams at the Gennifer Flowers Club Unfortunately, i had to leave before Kitsy arrived. The performance Spain’s Compania Nacional de Danza presented by the New OrlΓ©ans Ballet Association at the Mahalia Jackson Theater was superb. Spain’s premier, national dance company, returned after 22 years for a rare New Orleans engagement. Led by Artistic Director JoaquΓn De Luz, a world-renowned past principal dancer with New York City Ballet, CNdD wows the Crescent City with a North American premiere of mixed repertoire: White Darkness by CNdD’s former artistic director and choreographer Nacho Duato, a lush and virtuosic one-act ballet created as a requiem; the vivacious and satirical Sad Case by Sol LeΓ³n and Paul Lightfoot, which embodies the fiery, syncopated rhythms of Mexican mambo; and Passengers Within, the latest creation by De Luz, set to music by Philip Glass. The company’s repertoire embraces classical to avant-garde and reflects its own identity and history of excellence. Former Executive Director of New Orleans Ballet Jon Teeusiwen & Joaquin de Luz,Artist Director of Compania Nacional de Danza May be an image of 3 people What a fun a lovely evening at the Annual Meeting of the YMCA at the Ridgeway! 🎭 Crawl Into Carnival 🍾 🎫✨ Tickets Alert! 🎭🍾 #CrawlIntoCarnival still has spots open!
