A Toast to my darling friends who have survived the virus and prayers for the sick and our departed.

Good morning darlings!
I hope you all enjoyed Mother's Day 2020. I sure did!
Mother Nature provided the most glorious, picture-perfect day to celebrate with friends Mother's Day at the exquisite Houmas House Plantation and Gardens.
I felt like a bird that has been released from a cage. I am still salivating the delicious brunch served under the majestic oak trees at Houmas House. Under prudent social distance measures, I was joined by my darling friends Paul Sohi, Leila Legendre, and Laurie Scott.
it was so frustrating not being able to hug my darling friends, host Kevin Michael Kelly and Cecily Neville Boudreaux as well as legendary Chris Owens, Kitsy Adams, and entourage. I also saw historian Sally and Bill Reeves and attorney Raul Bencome, his wife, and other friends.
Good morning darlings!
May 14, awaits us- Let's enjoy it and be grateful that we are alive and healthy. Be happy with what you have while working for what you want. Be thankful for what you have🙏🙏🙏🙏
Happy Thursday, be someone’s sunshine today. It would be great if you can inspire someone on a Happy Thursday.
Some days it’s okay if all you did was breathe. Do something nice today.😘😍🥰
To give and not expect a return, that is what lies at the heart of love. If you want to give ...

NEW ORLEANS —
Here you can get the latest information on the coronavirus, or COVID-19, in Louisiana and resources to be prepared and keep your family safe.
The novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, is from the coronavirus family, which includes the common cold, but also includes more serious illnesses like SARS and MERS. While COVID-19 has a high transmission rate, it has a low mortality rate.

Here are the latest Louisiana coronavirus numbers:

  • 31,815 cases
  • 2,242 deaths
  • More than 22,000 presumed recovered
  • 9,804 tests completed by State Lab
  • 211,026 commercial tests completed and reported to State.

When should I see a doctor?

Health officials provided these questions. Ask yourself:
  1. Have you traveled outside the U.S. in the last two weeks?
  2. Have you been in close contact with someone testing positive for COVID-19?
  3. Do you have a fever greater than 100 degrees?
A fever alone does not indicate that you need to be tested for COVID-19. But if you've traveled or have come in contact with a COVID-19-positive person, you need to be tested.
DO NOT GO TO A CLINIC OR EMERGENCY ROOM. Call your medical provider first and get instructions on how to report for a test.

his is scary!
Let's pray for New Orleanian, Dr. Fair;🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

My darling longtime friend Henry Lopez who is celebrating his birthday today sent me these jokes that will put a smile on your face!
We all need to Laugh;
-
- I’m having a quarantine party this weekend! None of you are invited.
- All these people are worried about a baby boom in the next nine months. Two days of homeschooling should nip that right in the bud!
- If you thought toilet paper buying was crazy, just wait until 300 million people all want a haircut appointment at the same time.
- All I can think about now when I’m watching any TV show or movie is how everyone is standing WAY too close together.
- The Department of Health is looking to hire couples married seven years or more to educate people on social distancing.
- Quarantine Day 16. I’ve started taking calls from telemarketers. Some of them are actually quite nice. Jamar from Superior Life Insurance has a new baby.
- Grocery shopping has become a real-life version of Pac-Man. Avoid everyone, get the fruit, and take any route possible to avoid conflict.
- So we don’t go to restaurants, kids aren’t signed up for anything, and we just stayed home for Spring Break? Sounds like my childhood.
- My wife and I play this fun game during the quarantine. It’s called, “Why Are You Doing It That Way?” There are no winners.
- When we come out of this and I ask you where you want to eat, I do NOT want to hear, “I don’t know.” YOU HAD 45 DAYS!
- Can’t wait until this is over so I can go back to social distancing on my own terms.
- My car probably thinks I died.
- It’s been a blessing being home with the wife for three weeks now. We’ve caught up on everything I’ve done wrong for 15 years.
- If your parents are over 60 and want to go out ... FORBID THEM! If they complain and say, “But everyone else is doing it”, tell them, “You’re not everyone.” IT’S PAYBACK TIME!
- Due to my isolation, I finished three books yesterday. And believe me, that’s a lot of coloring!
- Anyone else getting a tan from the light in your refrigerator?
