Greetings from sunny Pensacola Beach where, as in the past, I am spending brief sojourn in the company of my brother Lorenzo who celebrated his birthday on Sunday.

Before I left New Orleans, I attended several fun events that included:
THNOC's Opening of New Orleans: The Founding Era
Darlings, on Tuesday, Feb. 27, I joined The Historic New Orleans Collection, state and local dignitaries and esteemed international guests at HONC’s. ribbon-cutting ceremony of the exhibition “New Orleans - The Founding Era at The Historic New Orleans Collection.” For history buffs like me, it is a must! A very comprehensive exhibition that you will enjoy seeing.

Official Grand Opening of Flamingo A-Go-Go
I had so much fun at the celebration of Official Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting & Pop-Up of Flamingo A-Go-Go, 869 Magazine Street, owned by Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts.
Flamingo A-Go-Go partnered with the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce to celebrate its official Grand Opening with a ribbon cutting and pop-up event.
American Heart Association “Go Red for Women" Luncheon
The American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women Luncheon” at the Hyatt was, as in the past, educational, informative, delicious and I loved the fashion show. The Luncheon was Co-Chaired by my darling friends Simone Bruni Crouere of Demo Diva and her sister in- law Pat Denechaud, Honorary Consul of Canada.

This luncheon is part of the “Go Red for Women” movement that encourages local women to take charge of their heart health. Guests participated in free health screenings and a silent auction, and at 11:30 a.m., the ticketed heart-healthy luncheon and program included stories of local women affected personally by heart disease and lovely fashion show coordinated by Chatta Box Boutique.

If you know me, I have been very busy during these past weeks and I need much deserving R& R to deal with the hectic social schedule which, of course will include on Wednesday, hosting the Round Table Luncheon Saluting the Spring Festivals and the Social/Cultural events.
