MB and  Tony -award winner Broadway Producer Sue Vaccaro in our way to Houmas House's St Patrick's Day Celebration

Darlings, Happy Spring!

I hope you enjoyed both St. Patrick and St Joseph's Days.

As in the past, I went to celebrate St. Patrick's Day at my darling friend Kevin Michael Kelly's exquisite Houmas House Plantation and Gardens. He always hosts an incredible dinner for the media and my friends and I really enjoyed it.

Host Kevin Kelly, MB,  Doug Bourgeois, Assistant Secretary of Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism and talented artist Jimmy Blanchard at Houma House Plantation

I also celebrated St. Joseph's Day by attending the blessing of Anthony Marino's annual St. Joseph Altar in front of his home in Bourbon Street.

I started my week on Tuesday, when I attended the awesome Concert 4 in the Faulkner Society's Free Public Concert Series: "Chamber for the Ages" featuring soprano Sarah Jane McMahon, pianist Jesse Reeks and violinist Lulu Reeks.

On Wednesday, I always look forward to attending the New Orleans Museum of Art's spectacular Art in Bloom 2018: Queen of Arts, Celebrating 30 Years of Art in Bloom in partnership with IBERIABANK.

On Thursday, I was invited to a VIP preview of the restoration of Gallier Hall. The party, hosted by Mayor Mitch Landrieu and his wife Cheryl, who was in charge of the restoration of historic Gallier Hall, was lovely. I have been going to many soirees during my 40 years in New Orleans but I have never seen it looking more beautiful. I also loved the book by Cheryl Landrieu about the history of Gallier Hall.

The TOP TACO at the riverboat Creole Queen and at Woldenberg Park was a great success.
