Good morning my darling family and friends. Today, Tuesday, August 1st, we say goodbye to a hot July and welcome hopefully a cooler August. May the month of August be filled with the blessings of good health, love, peace, happiness and prosperity.
I am going to be missing today the press conference for the 2023 Summer Satchmo Fest at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Today is also the beginning of COOLinary and Museum Month of August!  Stay cool and hydrated! May be an image of calendar and text that says 'Welcome May AUGUST this month bring you satisfaction, peace and joy. Saying hello to August is saying goodbye to summer. It’s summer’s last hot breath, the final call to enjoy slower days and warm weather. It’s your last chance to indulge.  Stay cool and enjoy it.😘
Darlings, as know I have been spending the last weeks of July at a Boca Chica Beach hotel, where I have been recuperating from Dental Implants' surgery. It as bee quite an order since I have not been able to eat solid food and drink alcohol. I will be staying here until Thursday when I will see my dentist again. My rewards from this ordeal will be hopefully implants and lost of weight.

Darlings, just a reminder that my 18th Round Table Luncheon Saluting the Cultural Season will be on Friday, September 8 at noon at popular Briquette's Resturant:
Darling, as I told you before,  I am taking refuge from the heat at my beloved ancestral home in Santo Domingo.  I will return at the end of August just in time to partake in the social/cultural season of 2023-24. 
I  am  putting the final touches to my Round Table Luncheon on September 8, October 20 and the Festive one on December 15. So mark your calendar.
Darlings, I am so excited that Lisa Alexis, Director, Mayor's Office of Cultural Economy at City of New Orleans is co-sharing my Round Table Luncheon Saluting the 2022-23 Cultural Season on Wed, September 8 at noon at Briquette's. The directors of cultural organizations such as New Orleans Opera, Ballet, LPO, Jefferson Performing Arts, Art Council, Prospect One, CAC, WYES,  Marigny Opera House, Le Petit Theater, Nous, The Historic New Orleans Collection and others will be invited.  I am working on the live entertainment in addition to talented Carl Mack and Marshall Harris

Two monthlong events highlight a culturally rich August for New Orleans residents and visitors; More than 100 restaurants participating in 19th annual COOLinary
NEW ORLEANS – July 27, 2023 - COOLinary and Museum Month, created and led by New Orleans & Company, return throughout the month of August. During the 19th annual COOLinary New Orleans some of the city’s finest dining establishments are offering specially curated prix-fixe menus at unbeatable prices.  The ninth annual New Orleans Museum Month gives museum members the opportunity to use their current membership to visit all participating institutions, free of charge.
During COOLinary New Orleans, restaurant goers can enjoy special two- and three-course lunch menus for $25 or less and three-course dinner and brunch menus for $50 or less from more than 100 restaurants. Participants include some of the city’s longstanding and iconic Creole and Cajun restaurants as well as new places featuring New Orleans cuisine incorporating international inspirations.
