A Toast to New Orleans and YOU - Week of June 7-14 : 2021NOWFE/ Round Table Luncheon Saluting Women/ Ogden's Magnolia Ball/ Opera Night at the Gallery on Magazine

Good afternoon darling friends. When life give you Monday, June 7, dip it in glitter and spark all week. The start of a week should be a good motivator to live each day to the fullest. Start Mondays with the thought that something great is going to happen today and it will!  Monday is a clean slate day. A day to start afresh with the vigor, optimism, and enthusiasm transferred from a weekend of battery charging. As Wayne Dyer said " The Essential lesson I've learned in life is to just be yourself. Treasure the magnificent being that you are and recognize first and foremost you're not here as a human being only. You're a spiritual being having a human experience." Wishing you a happy, healthy, and bubbly week.
May be an image of flower and text that says 'Topy Mandly The secret to living a life of happiness is to dream it, believe it, embrace it, love it, feelit be it today & everyday in every little way imaginable. -Belsz InSPl RE Soul positive Sensations'

This past week, felt like we started to return to "normalcy." I attended the first meeting of the Patio Planters, and I was happy to learn that the recent Vieux Carre Garden Tours was a great financial sucess.

I also attended the monthly Krewe of Cork Luncheon at the historic Antoine's Restaurant.
Always having fun with members of the Krewe of Cork at Antoine’s!
Why is it that food, music, and friends are always so much fun on Fridays?
I also attended the Celebration of Life of my longtime friend well-respected attorney, Louis  Wilson.
May his soul RIP.  He will be missed by  all that  knew and loved him. His widow Sandra Trout Wilson has been my friend for over 4 decades . The Celebration of Life was lovely, and it was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church followed by a delicious reception at legendary Arnauld’s . It was a gathering of longtime friends that have not seen each since the pandemic♥️🙏

Darlings, this is going to be a very busy week that will start on Tuesday, June 8, when the 2021 New Orleans Wine and Food experience will host VIP Receptions and  sold-out dinners for this year 's honorees.
Each year NOWFE presents the Ella Brennan Lifetime Achievement in Hospitality Award to one recipient who has made a lifetime commitment to the hospitality industry through extraordinary leadership, personal and professional accomplishments, and philanthropic contributions to the community. This past year, so many in our community stood up for others that we couldn't pick just one. In 2021, NOWFE presents the Ella Brennan "Stand Up for Your Hometown" Awards presented to recipients who have exhibited unwavering love and extended an extraordinary response to support the New Orleans community during the pandemic. The Award is named for legendary restaurateur Ella Brennan, in honor of her deep passion and commitment, which has made a significant and longstanding impact on the New Orleans hospitality industry.
