A Toast to New Orleans and YOU- Week of November 27- December 4: Lighting of Christmas Tree at Windsor Ct & Lobby of Roosevelt / Fete De Noel/ Roots & Children's Hospital Parade/Hot Dish Dinner & more...../

Good afternoon my darling family and friends. It a chilly, Cyber Monday, November 27. I am praying that you all had a blessed Thanksgiving week. Let's pray for the safe return of all the hostages.  I am looking forward to a week full of holiday festivities.  I hope this week will be fruitful and bring joy and happiness to you and your family. Safe travel to all of you returning home!  ðŸ˜˜

Thanksgiving 2023 will go down my memory lane as an unbelievably delicious and memorable one. Without my roommate Rick Tringali, his dog Nizi and my beloved brother Lorenzo out of town, I opted to invite longtime friends and new ones to join me at Thanksgiving. In between drops of rain, my lovely courtyard and living room were the setting for the feast. Chef William Leon cooked the turkey and the pork loin, dirty rice and my darling friends brought in the rest to make it a delicious Thanksgiving Feast!
WOW ! La Fete de Napoleón was quite a memorable night. It started with a lovely and delicious reception at the historic Napoleon House that was followed by an incredibly special preview of the epic film Napoleon. I loved the film, but I thought there were too many long battles. I do recommend it to history lovers. The acting and cinematography were  excellent!

Fete de Noel that benefit the Ladies Leukemia League

Ladies Leukemia League, Inc. is a 501 c 3, all-volunteer, non-profit organization founded in 1969 by a group of ladies dedicated to finding a cure for leukemia and related diseases.

The major fund raiser—LLL’s Fête de Noël Luncheon and Fashion Show—has become the premier event of the holiday season in the New Orleans Metropolitan Area.

Proceeds from this luncheon are used to fund grant proposals submitted by researchers at institutions in the Gulf South Region (Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas) evaluated by LLL’s medical panel.

This volunteer organization functions without a paid staff but rather with dedicated members who work year-round to bring hope to those who suffer.
