Today, November 1, I feel so blessed to be alive, healthy, and I  was able to reign as the Queen of Halloween for the spectacular  French Quarter Citizens' Halloween Fundraiser at the historic New Orleans Jazz Museum. It was quite a night and thanks to Voodoo Priestess Cinnamon Black that transformed me into a fun-loving Voodoo Queen!

All Saints Day Mass

Mon, Nov 1
3:00pm
Annual outdoor observance with Archbishop Gregory M. Aymond officiating in front of All Saints Mausoleum.
Lake Lawn Funeral Home and Cemeteries
5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans LA 70124
The mass is a long-standing tradition at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home and the community at large is invited to participate and honor their loved ones who have passed. All Saints Day, also known as All Hallows’ Day, is a Christian tradition, which commemorates the lives of all Christian saints, known and unknown.
The mausoleum, built in cooperation with the New Orleans Archdiocese, offers a contemporary, climate-controlled Catholic burial facility. With stained-glass windows and Italian handcrafted mosaics, the All Saints Mausoleum has become a renowned resting place for many New Orleanians.
In case of inclement weather, the celebration will be held indoors at the Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home chapel. After the mass, refreshments and a commemorative gift will be available for attendees.
