A Toast to New Orleans and YOU! Week of May 22-29: Les Amis Du Lycee Francais's Nuit de la Music/Food Flights/ Nautical Round Table Luncheon/ Memorial Day events

We are thrilled to invite you to a remarkable fundraising gala, Nuit de La Musique at the Cabildo, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable night of music, food, and celebration while supporting
Lycée Français de la Nouvelle-Orléans.
Join us as we feature the musical legacy and cultural dedication of Grammy Award winner Louis Michot, best known as the fiddle player and lead singer for the Lost Bayou Ramblers. Mr. Michot was a featured performer during the 2023 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
This memorable event, to be held at the Cabildo on May 25 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m, will honor Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser, Consul General of France Nathalie Baras, Givonna Joseph and Aria Mason of OperaCréole, and the Nous Foundation.
The Pre-Gala Champagne Party will take place from 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.
Your $150 ticket per person also includes a dinner buffet created by Chef Geoffrey Rhode of Pigeon Catering and Events featuring traditional Louisiana seafood dishes. You will be served French champagne and wine.
Guests will also be able to visit the collections of the Cabildo Museum and view the current exhibitions of two well-known African American artists: Creole New Orleans, Honey! The Art of Andrew Lamar Hopkins and Marking Pictures: The Life and Work of Clementine Hunter.
A silent auction will take place and items to be auctioned include a week’s stay at a seaside home in Breton, France, an autographed child’s violin/fiddle by Louisiana musician Louis Michot, and dinner for two at a historic New Orleans restaurant.
This fundraising gala is supported by the Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism and the Cabildo Museum. Please purchase your tickets below. We look forward to sharing this evening with you.
