A Toast to New Orleans and YOU- Week of April 24 -May 1st. LPO's Swing In the Oaks/ Audubon Zoo to Do and many more.....
Good afternoon my darling family and friends. In a day like today, April 24, I was born 77 years ago in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. I am grateful to all of you that made me who I am today! Every day I count my blessings for having lived so long and look forward to many more years. As Maya Angelous said, "My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." Have a blessed week!

This past week was a very busy and memorable one. Of course the highlight of it, was my yearly Margarita Champagne Fiesta celebrating my birthday along Sammy Steele, Rick Tringali and those born in the months of April and May. The totally sold-out fiesta was superb. I felt so bad to turn down many requests but there was room for only 100 and we ended with 108. During my bubbly all-white fiesta I wa showered with love and gifts and I feel so blessed to have so many darling friends.

Sorry that I could not put more photos. OMG what a lovely night! Last night the New Orleans Ballet Association presented international favorite State Ballet of Georgia. Making its New Orleans debut (one of only four cities nationwide), the State Ballet of Georgia concluded NOBA’s star-studded 2022-23 Main Stage Season accompanied by the LPO. Based in the Opera and Ballet State Theatre in the capital city of Tbilisi, this stunning company of “versatile and accomplished” dancers (The New York Times) have soared under the bold artistic direction of world-renowned dancer Nina Ananiashvili (former prima ballerina with Bolshoi Ballet who honored us with her presence. It is always a pleasure to see some of my longtime friends during the intermission.

I concluded my birthdy week by attending a fabulous Drag Queen Luncheon at Starlight Lounge in Metaire but unfortunately I cannot share the photos sinceI cannot put anymore photos. I will post them next week!
Darlings please put in your calendar and make your reservation now:
