A Toast to New Orleans and YOU :Week of April 10 -17 French Quarter Festival/ Big Frida and LPO and more
Good afternoon my darling family and friends! It is Monday, April 10. I’m happy. God is going to do amazing things this week.” I feel blessed to have enjoyed a splendid Easter Sunday. I am praying that all of you enjoyed the Easter and Passover celebrations as well. “When you start to do the things that you truly love, it wouldn’t matter whether it’s Monday or Friday; you would be so excited to wake up each morning to work on your passions.” — Edmond Embiaka
Easter Week was an extremely exciting and memorable one.

The highlight of my week was participating at the 2023 French Quarter Easter Parade in Sammy Steele's Float.
The 2023 French Quarter Easter Parade honoring the memory of legendary Chris Owens was spectacular. I saw the biggest crowd ever as we musically rolled through the historic French Quarter!

Before Sammy Steele and I went to Saenger to see the fabulous Moulin Rouge, we stopped by the monthly meeting of the Patio Planters at Mary's Hardware on N. Rampart. It was informative and we enjoyed listening to Captain Lejon M. Roberts, Commander of the New Orleans Police District that covers the French Quarter.
Darlings, I urge you to treat yourself to the spectacular Broadway show "Moulin Rouge" the musical at the Saenger Theater. You will love it as much as I did. i saw many of my friends eEnjoying the show. The standing ovation show will run until Sunday, April 16,2023
