It is going to be a spectacular celebration and we will select a King and Queen of 2022. The celebration will be s noon at Briquette's . The $65 is all inclusive. You can reserve  now by Zelle, Venmo or by sending a check to Margarita Bergen, 811 Marigny Street, Unit C, New Orleans, Louisiana 70117. If you have a credit, please let me know ASAP.
Good day, my darling family and friends. A cold Monday, January 10 awaits us. Let's welcome it with a smile on our face, even though our hearts are broken, and playoffs hopes  were again dashed by the Rams, but our beloved Saints were victorious against the Falcons.
Let's attack Monday with enthusiasm, laughter, thousands of smiles, and cheerfulness. Let this Monday be kind to you: be happy with what you have and accept the things which you cannot change. Keep a smile on your face and face the day with big positive energy. You’ll find that your positive energy will bounce back off other people, which will result in you and everyone around you having a wonderful day. May your week be filled with love, health, and laughter!

I started the 2022 Carnival celebrations on January 5,  by attending the Krewe of Joan of Arc 's dinner at the Bourbon Orleans in honor of the 2022 Royalty.

I concluded my week by stepping out in a warm afternoon before the Saints game to see the last fabulous performance of New Orleans Opera production: In Homage to Josephine Baker at the Marigny Opera House.May be an image of 6 people, people standing and indoorMay be an image of 4 people, people standing and indoorMay be an image of 2 people and indoorThe echo of Brava was reverberating at the Marigny Opera House at the conclusion of the New Orleans Opera ‘s production of one act “ In Homage to Josephine Baker.”
The performances of  talented Loquita Michelle as Josephine, Conductor Jeri Lynne Johnson and Director Lauren E. Turner were terrific. The opera was followed by a question-and-answer period.👏
