Good morning my darling family and friends, A warm Monday, November 7 is waking us up. Let's welcome this Saints Game Day with gratitude for being alive and healthy. The first miracle of today is the opportunity given to you to be alive and live life. So, make effective use of it daring every seemingly impossible task with renewed energy. Have a beautiful Monday and an awesome week ahead. Geaux Saints and good luck tonight with the Powerball. 😘May be an image of tree and text that says 'Monday Blessings May the ord fill your week with Love and Laughter Have a Blessed Day'

I started my social/cultural week on Nov. 2nd. I was so honored to have been invited to a Discoveries & Decoding Lipid Mediators Dinner at Antoine’s. The dinner honored my longtime friend Dr Nicolas Bazan, a true renaissance man, research scientist, teacher, mentor, community leader, family man, patron of the arts and entrepreneur. He has devoted his academic life to studying neuroprotection by lipid signaling in early states of neurogenerative and retinal disorders. I feel blessed to enjoy his friendship and his family. Talented soprano Sarah Jane  McMahon accompanied by pianist Jesse Reeks provided the memorable entertainment for the delight of the audience!

The opening of the 2022 New Orleans Film Festival I was so delighted to learn about and see the new State of the Art venue: Second Line Stages- The MBS Group. Second Line Stages is the first purpose-built, full-service production facility in New Orleans and Louisiana—and the first independent green film studio in the United States. The campus touts five buildings, three sound stages, 46,000 square feet of production offices, 64,000 square feet of support and warehouse space, an onsite 60,000-square-foot truck and base-camp lot and 48-seat digital screening theater.

Ochsner’s Moonlight and Miracles hosted by my longtime friend Gayle Benson was like in the past Spectacular. The superdome all decked out in silver, the food , the entertainment, libations and lot of friends made it to be a very memorable evening for a great cause.
