Good afternoon my darling family and friends. It is Monday, May 16 and I feel blessed to be alive, healthy, and looking forward to a busy social week. I am praying that you all are as well. Start your week full of positive energy New Day, New Morning, Reach New Heights It’s also a new day, a new week, and in that lies a new opportunity Because it’s Monday, the first day of the week. Wishing you a blessed, sparkling week.
I feel blessed to have enjoyed a week filled with a myriad of social/cultural soirees.
I started my week by enjoying a delicious Tennessee Whiskey dinner at Briquette's.
AS Anthony Tusa Jr, described :"A great time was had by all!  “SIppin’ & Seersucker” was the theme. Hosted by Charlie Nelson, Master Distiller of Nelson Brothers Bourbon and his lovely wife Rita of Nashville Tennessee. Charlie introduced the Nelson brother's collection to our guest; his great grandfather opened the first distillery in Tennessee under the brand of Greenbriar and has been rebranded to Nelson Brothers.
Anna and Toby masterfully crafted Whiskey and Bourbon cocktails that were paired with our Culinary Teams Five Course Dinner Menu. Both our Culinary Team and our Mixolgist knocked it out of the park.
The greatest part of the evening was the camaraderie and friendship that was had by our many friends that shared this wonderful evening at briquette with Charlie, Anna and myself. Thank each and everyone of ya’ll from the bottom of my heart…………….AJ.

I was anxiously waiting to attend the BRAVO GALA 2022: ACHIEVE THE IMPOSSIBLEBRAVO, the Ballet Resource And Volunteer Organization of the New Orleans Ballet Association, at the Hyatt and I was not disappointed . It was superb. Congratulations to Gala Chairs Sandra Herman and Laurie G. Guillaume for an extraordinary, elegant, and delicious gala for a great cause.

WOW!  I got my much-needed dosage of classical ballet, by attending the exquisite presentation of Swan Lake by the New Orleans Ballet Theater, followed by the spectacular presentation by the NO Ballet Association of the American Ballet Theatre's masterpiece Don Quixote at the Mahalia Jackson Theater
