Darlings, please get vaccinated, wear your mask, and be hydrated.
Each morning when I open my eyes, I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. Have a Great Monday! Groucho Marx
Darlings, I feel so blessed that I have been healthy and was able to host my Sail into Fall Round Table Luncheon on Wed. August 11 at Briquette. Due to the resurgence of COVID 19 , it was not a big crowd but a fun-loving group that made the Round Table Luncheon to be one of the best. The guest speakers Hon. Councilwoman Kristin Palmer, Tammie O' Shea of Fidelity Bank , Greg Lambousey, Director of the New Orleans Jazz Museum , the entertainers by talented Jovan Mathieu accompanied on the piano by Jim Walpole and then joined by Linda Aubert and the delicious cuisine made it indeed to be a very special and memorable RTL. Thank you to my cohost Liz Broekman ,VP, Director of P.O.W.E.R. at Fidelity Bank.
