: A Toast to New Orleans and YOU Week of July 11-18 Wishing al of you a delightful, safe cool Summer
Good Afternoon my darling family and friends. Monday, July 11, awaits us. Let's welcome it with great enthusiasm, enormous hope, and a tank full of energy. When you wake up on a Monday morning, you should feel happy, inspired, and motivated to make the best start to the week. Monday is the perfect day for a fresh start, so make something great happen for yourself today. “" When life gives you Monday, dip it with glitter and spark all day." Tomorrow, about this time of the day, I will be arriving in Santo Domingo where I am planning to spend the next six weeks resting at the beach and enjoying the company of my first and second cousins. I hate missing the Bastille Day Celebrations. Tales of the Cocktails, Satchmo SummerFest, White and Dirty Linen Night and other fun-loving events but i learned that when I say NO to the world, I am saying YES to myself. Have a great Summer and stay cool and hydrated!I am looking forward to returning in time to co-host along with Lisa Alexis, Director of Cultural Economy at the City of New Orleans.
