Wishing you a Healthy, Peaceful Week- Round Table Luncheon has been postponed to September 2nd at noon at Galatoire's
I HOPE YOU WILL ENJOY IT
Good morning darlings! It’s Wednesday, July 15, 2020!
I’m breathing. I’m healthy. I’m truly blessed. I’m grateful for this day.”πππππ
I have mixed feelings about today, Wednesday, July 15.
I have been looking forwards to this day for months since I was going to be hosting my Sold-out Round Table Luncheon "A Path to Recovery and Normalcy " at noon at Galatoire's.
It was going to be my first RTL since this pandemic started.
I was really looking forward to hosting a stellar panel of featured speakers that included Hon. Mayor La Toya Cantrell, Health expert Dr. Corey Hebert, Daniel Hammer, CEO of The Historic New Orleans Collection, and philanthropist Sandra Thomson Herman, President of the New Orleans Entertainment Coalition.
The rise of the coronavirus cases and the recent restrictions imposed by Governor John Bel Edwards and Mayor La Toya Cantrell made me postpone the RTL until Wednesday, September 2nd at noon at Galatoire's.
It was a sad decision, but I am sure under the circumstances it was the right one. I am praying that by September 2nd, this historical, pandemic coronavirus will be under control.
The safety and welfare of my guests were my priority. ππ“Keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.” – Marilyn Monroe

I am so relieved that I postponed my Round Table Luncheon at Galatoire's. I am hoping that by September, the coronavirus will be contained!ππππππ
WOW_ This scary:
MaskUpLouisiana -it saves lives.
I love watching last night on PBS - WYES : The Vote-
Please make sure you see it.
Women weren't given the VOTE- they took it!
One hundred years after the passage of the 19th Amendment, The Vote tells the dramatic culmination story of the hard-fought campaign waged by American women for the right to vote — a transformative cultural and political movement that resulted in the largest expansion of voting rights in U.S. history.
