Good afternoon, darlings. A warmer Tuesday Feb. 3 is welcoming us. I am grateful for yesterday's beautiful weather that contributed partly to the success of my RTL "Crawl into Carnival "at the Jazz Museum.
“It’s TUESDAY! And since its CHOOSEDAY: Choose to smile; choose to be happy; choose to love; choose to bless; choose to be a blessing; choose to be humble; choose to be patient; choose to be kind…& above all, choose God to guide your life." Happy Tuesday and the month of February and its festivities ! –
Darlings, normally I write my weekly blog " A Toast to New Orleans and YOU" on Monday, but I was too busy putting together the annual Round Table Luncheon, " Crawl into 2026 Carnival" , which was a great success. I want to thank everyone that made it possible including Mother Nature for providing us with the perfect sunny and warm weather. Greg Lambousy, Director of the New Orleans Jazz Museum and Lisa Alexis, President and CEO - New Orleans Tourism and Cultural Fund were crowned as the King and Queen of the 2026 Crawl Into Carnival Parade. Darlings this week is my favorite since I will be parading as the three time Queen of Krewe of cork on Friday and then on Sunday I will be dressed as Gilda the good Witch of Wicked to accompany Duke Tringali in his beautiful float on the parade of the Mystic Krewe of Barkus.
Tuesday, February 3
Looking forward to attending tonight Media Night for Water for Elephants at the Saenger Theatre-LA - New Orleans, LA It will be playing from February 3 to 8.
Water For Elephants
After losing what matters most, a young man jumps a moving train unsure of where the road will take him and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus, and a life—and love—beyond his wildest dreams. Seen through the eyes of his older self, his adventure becomes a poignant reminder that if you choose the ride, life can begin again at any age.
