A Toast to you and me!

Darlings, I am still being inundated with displays of love, affection, gifts, champagne for my 70th birthday. I feel blessed and thank God for blessing me with so many friends and memories.
I celebrated my birthday on Friday at Galatoire's and, since we had a least 70 friends, we had to move upstairs to a special room named for me, the "Margarita Bergen Room." I felt like a “Queen for the Day.” We were entertained royally by Jim Walpole on the piano with vocalists Marshall Harris, Cary Roy, MaryFlynn Thomas, and Carl Mack. What fun. Make sure you see the link since even Chef Michael, with Dave Gooch and Melvin Rodrigueof Galatoire's joined the celebration. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10153361800320870.1073742648.581200869&type=1&l=4d40d2dd1d
Since it is Jazz Festival Time, I spent my time working at Casell-Bergen Gallery.
On a sad note, I just read that my darling friend , Interior Designer Claire Tully has passed away. She will be missed. May her soul rest in Peace.
This week coming up is going to be another fun week that will include the final week of the N.O. Jazz Fest.
